Dr. Katumu obtained his bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He is very passionate about patient education, health promotion, and disease prevention. He has extensive experience in both in-patient and out-patient care. Dr. Katumu manages both chronic and acute conditions in patients of all age groups with an emphasis on building lasting relationships based on mutual respect and trust.
He encourages patients to take an active role in the decision-making process and works in partnership with them to make realistic and achievable goals to optimizing their health. When he’s not taking care of his patients, Dr. Katumu also enjoys basketball, running, watching movies, traveling, and spending time with his beautiful wife, two daughters, and son.
